When the seed packet instructions said to plant mid winter, I was rather skeptical but these beans have been a winner. They required practically no attention. As they grow close together, weeds were shut out. They didn’t seem to suffer from pests or disease. All I have now, 5 months on, is a super tasty garden treat. The volume is prolific and keeps going, but they don’t last further than the clothes line.
